I don't get it.
Someone ordered a two-door hardtop, with a 6 cylinder. Then he tacked on the optional bucket seats and 770 (top of the line) trim.
Weird.

Tewells in Uniontown was such a dealer.
He would put the V-8's in the larger cars though.
But he never ordered any Americans with the 8's.
He didn't do any Hornets, Gremlins, Spirits either.
He didn't see the point, He was not a performance car guy.
The only small cars we saw with 8's were sold at other dealers. Or specifically ordered by a customer.
He put a lot sixes in the big cars too. Up till smog stuff came online the sixes pulled those cars around pretty darned good.
Someone over at "theamcforum" needs the dirvers door off of that car!

Strange to see that dealer name pop up. I purchased
his entire inventory of parts several years ago. At
that time the manager told me that no one had ever
asked about his parts. I even found old Nissan parts
still mixed in.
The total take filled a 24 truck top to bottom.

He might of told you no one had asked about them, but I can asure they left the buildings by the droves over the years.
When he sold out as a dealer the place was full to the rafters.
There was even one of the unobtanium 66-69 rt side 2 door hardtop American quarters up there!
I tried to score that when I bought mine, but someone had beat me to it.
You would have needed 5-6 24 ft trucks to empty it when he first shut down!
Ah, those were the days!
He's 80 now and walks with canes and knee braces. He refused knee replacement surgery.

Weird
He might of told you no one had asked about them, but I can asure they left the buildings by the droves over the years.
When he sold out as a dealer the place was full to the rafters.
There was even one of the unobtanium 66-69 rt side 2 door hardtop American quarters up there!
I tried to score that when I bought mine, but someone had beat me to it.
You would have needed 5-6 24 ft trucks to empty it when he first shut down!
Ah, those were the days!
He's 80 now and walks with canes and knee braces. He refused knee replacement surgery.
