engine identification help
Submitted by dgacutan on November 16, 2010 - 4:11pmHi, I have a 1960 Divco Milk Truck with what I believe could have a 196 CID Nash-Rambler OHV engine.
I have a pic of my engine I can send you to see if you agree or can identify my engine.
Any help is appreciated.
My direct email is dgacutan@starstream.net
Thanks.
Nash Ambassador Healey AMC Rambler Hudson Hornet Torque Tube Trunnion source found
Submitted by amcman on November 1, 2010 - 1:48pmI finally bought one of the torque tube trunnion seals for my '57 AMC Nash Ambassador. It started getting to be hard to drive in a straight line and made a scraping noise when slowing down. Now it drives just the way it always did, great! The trunnion looks to be more than a rubber doughnut. It came from nashramblerrubber.com and I'm glad I found them. He says it is made of a 3 part material that is not affected by heat and won't dissolve from transmission or differential fluid.
